Consultant @ The SME Finance Forum
The SME Finance Forum, administered by the IFC, works to expand access to finance for small and medium businesses. The IFC (International Finance Corporation) is the private sector arm of The World Bank Group, who's mission is to advance economic development and improve lives by encouraging the growth of the private sector in developing countries. Samantha is currently supporting the SME Finance Forum as a consultant as a network administrator. She is responsible for facilitating new membership onboarding, membership renewals and business process improvements.

MBA Candidate @ IESE Business School
As an MBA candidate at IESE Business School, Samantha recently completed a 19-month journey of learning the basics of business while refining her managerial and entrepreneurial expertise. Some professional highlights of her journey includes an exchange semester at The University of Michigan - Ross School of Business, the Africa Experience module in Nairobi, Kenya, and consulting projects for Xaiomi (Electric Cars), Occidente (Insurance), Nasir + Idie (Start-up) and Nike.
2023-2023
Co-Founder @ Hobby Connect
As part of the Summer Entreprenurship Experience (SEE) at IESE Business School, Samantha co-founded the Hobby Connect platform with two classmates in the summer of 2023. She took on the role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to create an employee engagement platform that encourages relationship building through mutual interests and learning. Samantha also dove deep into a sales role to support the concept validation of Hobby Connect and she was successful in securing the first client for the company. Samantha continued in this role beyond the SEE experience for a few more months to aid in the transition and handover of the platform to its current owners.

Knowledge and Learning @ The World Bank
During her time at the World Bank, Samantha grew to be an expert in the Knowledge and Learning field while with the Climate Change Group. There she developed the majority of her transferable skills in leadership, communication, stakeholder management, capacity development, branding and knowledge management.
